I have discovered the pictures of the barfooted pupils.What can we say ? I think that NZ have not the same weather as in France and in Germany and it's not the same mentality.I always say that shoes can stay at home when the wheather is god.It's better for the feet.People prefer to buy cheap shoes but they don't think that children can have problemes with their feet.
I've known such pictures when I was in school.Of course, every pupils wore shoes and barfooting was not in the discussions at school.
